Series: Frio Cool Gel Memory Foam Mattress

Unboxing Instruction:

1. Lay the box on its side and remove the mattress from the box.
2. Tear the first layer of plastic by hand following the red line. Do Not Cut.
3. Unroll the mattress and place it on a flat surface
4. Gently poke a few small holes in the second layer of plastic and the mattress will start expanding.
5. Carefully cut and remove the remaining plastic packaging. Let the mattress sit for at least 2 hours, giving it time to fully expand.

          #Tips

  •  You can gently tug on the side corner by hands or slightly pat the mattress to help it even out.
  •  The mattress might need 72 hours to fully decompress. However, it is safe to sleep on it after 2-4 hours as movements do help it to decompress faster.

 

Disclaimer: 

A brand new mattress will often be firmer than it will become over time. This firmness is caused by the foam layers. As you continue to sleep on your mattress, the pressure from your body will relax the foam and mold it more and more into your sleeping form. This creates what we call a body impression. The mattresses displayed in the showroom already have body impressions as they get tried on and experienced by dozes of customers every day. Hence, this is why newly purchased mattresses tend to be firmer than the ones displayed in showroom. So don’t worry and enjoy a good night sleep on your new mattress

MATTRESS WARRANTY

Lenar mattresses are covered by a 10 years warranty against manufacturing defects, from the date of delivery or collection.

This warranty covers:

  • Defect of a structural or manufacturing nature, including physical flaws in mattress causing the foam materials to split or crack.
  • Deteriorating resulting in a visible indentation or sag of 50mm or larger when no weight is applied onto the mattress.

  • As the mattress was mechanically pressed, vacuum sealed and rolled up to fit in the box, it does take some time for the mattress to return to its intended shape and size. The decompression rate of the mattress may be ± 1-2cm. However don’t worry as this will not affect your sleep quality.

    2. Limitations and Exceptions:

    • To preserve your rights under this warranty, proper care and usage are essential. This Warranty is not applicable if your ruma furniture is damaged by use of detergents, abrasives or other harsh cleaning agents.
    • Our Warranty does not cover damage resulting from negligence, abuse, normal wear and tear, or accidents: including (but not limited to) burns, cuts, scratches, tears, scuffs, watermarks, indentations or damage from pets.
    • Unless specifically stated otherwise, our Warranty does not apply if product is used outdoors.
    • Our Warranty does not cover damage where usage is involved in a commercial environment (e.g. restaurants, bars, hote>ls, offices, Airbnb and more). In this case, we are not liable for any accident during the course of business.
    • This Warranty will be voided in the case of any product modification by consumer or other parties not authorized by ruma.
    • Items marked as ‘AS-IS’ or any form of Display and Clearance items at the time of purchase is not covered by this Warranty.
    • Items not purchased directly from ruma is not covered by this Warranty.
    • ruma’s decision on all issues relating to complaints regarding defects, either of workmanship or materials, shall be final and conclusive. It shall be at ruma’s sole discretion for any decision to repair or have part(s) replaced.
    • For any item repaired or replaced under this limited Warranty, they will be covered by the limited Warranty only for the remainder of the original warranty period.
    • This Warranty covers manufacturing defects detected within the warranty period, the cost of material components, replacement parts, labor and transportation charges.
    • The level of comfort is subjective to the individual and will not be considered a manufacturing fault.
    • The Customer will cover in respect of manufacturing defects detected after the warranty period, the cost of material components and replacement parts, with all labor charges and transportation costs (if any).

Terms and conditions

  • This warranty is not transferable – benefits and protections of the warranty apply only to the original purchaser of the product. The Warranty Period is only applicable at the country of purchase to the first/original purchaser of the Product. To claim the warranty, the purchaser will be required to furnish the proof of purchase with the original receipt to ruma.
  • During the warranty period, Ruma will cover defects in workmanship or materials only. If any parts are damaged, Ruma will replace them and reserves the right to use materials of similar quality or substitute the mattress with the current model of comparable value if the original model is no longer available.
  • The warranty will not be renewed or extended if the mattress undergoes repair or replacement.
  • The warranty does not include coverage for the fabric of the mattress, as well as any changes in softness and recovery time that are typically associated with latex or foam over a period of time.
  • The warranty service will become automatically void in the following instances: –
    • Misuse or negligent use, e.g. sit on the edge of the mattress, stand or jump onto the mattress. The warranty does not cover any damage caused to the borders or frame of the mattress as a result of prolonged sitting or standing on the edges. (Please refer to the information on next section – “Mattress Maintenance and Care”.
    • Intentional damage.
    • Utilizing the mattress for purposes other than domestic use (e.g. stock keeping, outdoor activities etc.)
    • Normal wear and tear e.g. body impression on upholstery within 1.5 inches.
    • Using an unsuitable bed frame such as wooden slats base or foundation (e.g. insufficient bed frame support).
    • Issues resulting from natural environmental factors such as humidity, liquid penetration, cleaning, high-power vacuuming, or the use of cleaning agents
    • Damage caused by natural disasters e.g. fire, flood, earthquake and etc.
    • Any damage incurred as a result of unauthorized repair
    • Any damage caused by attempting to force the mattress through narrow doorways, elevators, or staircases etc.
    • Mattress not located at the registered address.
    • Any residual wool left due to electrostatic effects or the use of high-power vacuum cleaners.
    • Personal preferences and requirements e.g. firmness, comfort and odor.
    • Display item or mattress sold “as is”.
    • The mattress is in any unhygienic state, e.g. due to blood or bodily fluids, stains, soiling and infestation.
  • In the event of the purchaser reporting any manufacturing defects during the Warranty Period, a site inspection will be carried out upon payment by the purchaser prior to or on the inspection date. Details as follow:
    • Each inspection request will incur an Inspection Fee of RM100. However, if the reported defect falls within the scope of manufacturing defects and is eligible for a warranty claim, the Inspection Fee will be waived.
    • The purchaser will be responsible for covering the transportation costs associated with any repairs / replacements.
  • Ruma Home Sdn. Bhd. reserves the right to vary and amend any of the above terms and conditions without prior notice and without having to disclose any reason therefore and without any compensation whatsoever.
